and surely a casual observing
might cause one to misunderstand

appearing to be a delightful pair,
reveling in a moment so genuine, so grand
was sadly, a moment so remarkable, so rare
Appearing to be a delightful pair
sharing commonalities between
and showing affection, tenderness, and care
was not their typical routine
Sharing commonalities between
and feeling fondness would be a fib
if said to be the underpinning
of their relationship
And feeling fondness would be a fib,
and showing affection, tenderness, and care –
daughter and father hand in hand…
