Darkness,
Rooted in moist space
I never knew to question
Till the familiarity of warmth
Turned cold
And nature informed my fragile body
To quake.
Involuntarily violent
Motion made the world fracture,
Revealing a mystery
That hurt my head
And burned my eyes
But pain could not overwhelm curiosity.
My mind was now awake
To question.
I had to know
